3. Return Key website
3.1 All information on Return Key.com regarding the items comes from the reporter and/or software used. The reporter is requested to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information provided. In this process to match as optimally as possible Return Key.com offers a database with the description of the items.
3.2 Return Key can not guarantee the completeness and accuracy of a report on the website.
3.2.1 Despite the accuracy of the match, the finder will ultimately have to determine whether the reported loser is sufficiently plausible that he/she is the owner of the item placed. Return Key or an affiliated party is not a party to an item transfer between finder and loser.
3.3 Return Key strives for 24/7 availability of its services. Despite this aim, it cannot guarantee that the platform will be available without interruptions and/or without delay. E-mails sent by Return Key automatically from the website may be considered spam by the user’s mailbox. This cannot be prevented by Return Key. Return Key advises the user to check the spam mail.

5.1 The use of personal data made public by users via the Return Key website is only permitted with a view to achieving a possible transfer between finder and loser. So be careful what you do with this data. For example, never give your private address if you miss the house key. Return Key can only use personal data in accordance with the content of article 16. Act upon transfer as mentioned in the paragraph “Return” at the top of this page.
5.1.1 Data that is not shown by the user in a notification and/or communication between finder and loser will be permanently stored, but anonymously. The data will therefore never be traceable to the user.
5.2 Under no circumstances may the User process personal data and/or use them for any other purpose as referred to in article 5.1. No (commercial) exceptions apply to this.
5.3 Return Key ensures proper security of the stored data.
6. Matching an item
Return Key only takes care of the platform and the technical resources that make a match possible. Return Key provides the loser with technical tools to make safe contact with the finder in a way chosen by him/her. The tools do not guarantee a 100% match. The responsibility for searching for the loser as the rightful owner of the item and transferring the item lies with the finder. In case of doubt, Return Key advises both parties to leave the further settlement to the local government (see 7B).
7. Transfer of an item
If the finder wants to transfer the item to the loser, the finder can choose to do this in different ways:
A. Personal,
B. Through a third party. In case of doubt: make use of the local government. In case of suspicion of a possible deception or crime, make use of local police.
In none of these cases is Return Key or a Return Key affiliated party responsible for the actual transfer of the item and the state in which the item is returned to the loser.
8. Reward
The loser can reward the finder. The Return Key website offers this possibility for free. It is also possible to choose for a paid reward. Conditions are mentioned in the terms of payment.
9. Other paid services of Return Key
Return Key offers paid services to make it easier to register and retrieve items. Under no circumstances do these additional services guarantee the result that items will actually be found, but it does make it a lot easier.

The reporter indemnifies Return Key for all claims by third parties in connection with the notification, placement, content and data provided by reporter on the Return Key website and the use of the Return Key services.
12. Exclusion
